About Me

Hola. Hello!

Bienvenidos... Welcome to my photography site!
y gracias... Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to visit!

All images are copyright Alea Peters.

Fotografía (accent on the ee-uh) is the Spanish word for photography. Doesn't it just roll off the tongue so beautifully? I'm a sucker for accents. That might be part of the reason I fell in love with my husband. (He spoke Spanish!) Sigh.

Here's a little bit about me:
-My name is Alea Peters
-I live and work in Twin Falls and the surrounding areas in the Magic Valley.

-My husband is 6'6" (I get to wear heels!... Not that I really want to. I'm a big fan of bare feet!)
-We have two adorable, crazy little girls that I get to spend my days with.
-I love sports. I love competition. I love my job coaching cheerleading at the College of Southern Idaho.
-In my spare moments I love to craft, sew, scrapbook, and pin delicious recipes on Pinterest that I will never get around to cooking.
-I believe that "most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be," (Abe Lincoln) so I look for happiness... and that is exactly what I've found through my photography.

My love of photography started when my first baby was born. I had the desire to preserve every little memory in the most beautiful way possible. My skills grew and photography became a way to help friends and family do the same. When I started this little business back in 2011 I had no idea the opportunities it would provide me with. I love all the people I meet and the friends I get to see again, celebrating joyous events in life- graduation, getting married, their newborn child, birthdays... whatever the occasion may be. I have loved putting my studies in economics & education to use in a way I never would have contemplated when I was a student. I have striven to provide my clients with the photography services they want (which is why I publish my prices and include digital files with each session) and the comfort in knowing they are supporting a local, legal business. In this modern world I know you have many choices when it comes to selecting a photographer for your special events in life, so I appreciate my clients (present and future) for your time and the trust you have given me! I love what I do, and I hope that that love is reflected in every image I take.

Con amor,
Alea Peters
